The vineyards of Whyte Horse Winery are located on the rolling hills along the Big Creek in White County, Indiana. Whyte Horse grows many of our own grapes that are used to produce our wines.
Because we are located in an area that has cold winters, we have chosen to plant cold-hardy grapes suitable for the terroir of Indiana. Our larger vineyard is located on the farm a few miles from the winery, and is where we grow our Traminette and a few other varieties. The small vineyard at the winery is where we grow our Vignoles grapes.
